Born and raised in Homewood, a community just outside of Birmingham where I attended Shades Cahaba Elementary, Homewood Junior High and High School.
I graduated from Auburn University with a BS in Industrial Operations Management and was then employed with BellSouth for approximately 15 years. After 10 years in Atlanta, I returned to Birmingham and began my real estate career in 1999. I serve the greater Birmingham community with particular knowledge in the Over the Mountain area.
I am a Certified Mentor with Buffini & Company, the country's largest real estate coaching company. I have facilitated numerous classes involving the training of new and experienced agents in the activities required to build and maintain a referral-based real estate business.
Over 97% of my business has come from referrals from my clients and friends. My marketing plan is simple, if I do a good job my clients will feel confident in referring me to their family and friends.
In addition to residential sales I also serve as the Qualifying / Managing Broker for ReMAX Over the Mountain.
My wife, Sally and our 5 children attend Crosscreek Presbyterian Church where I serve as an officer.
I enjoy tennis, riding dirt bike motorcycles, college football and all of my children!
The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:
Loyalty to clients;
Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;
Cooperation with competitors;
Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.
To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry
